When I was seven, Jesus cried…

When I was seven
I was living
In a beautiful village
North of Jerusalem
Near the heart of Palestine

I used to play
Where Jesus used to pray
I ran up the hills
Where he used to walk
Listening through the wind
To the echo of his talk
“Oh, children of God,
Love one another”

A man of Palestine
Gentle, kind, and giving
A true prince of peace
Ever so loving…

Up above my head
White fluffy clouds
Slept all day
On my blue sky’s lap

I used to lie down
Jumping with my soul
Up in to heaven
Weaving with the clouds
Snow white and teddy bears

I’d make up stories
Dressed up as a princess
Dancing with the fairies
Flying on the wings
Of a pure white bird

With a magical brush
That no one could see
I painted the world
With colours of the rainbow

I flew wiping tears away
Of every human face
Putting a big smile
Right in their place

I spoke every language
With no words at all
With all words of love
They answered my call

Every drop of water
Every grain of sand
Every green leaf
Felt God’s loving hand

white bird

UNTIL
One summer day
My life was turned
Up-side down

My peaceful world
SUDDENLY .. ran away
Leaving me to drown
Shivering all alone
In the grave-yard of town

THE SIX-DAY WAR
EVER SO CRUEL
The army of Zion
Marched ready to fight
Crushing us with bombs
Proud of all their might

Stealing our country
Was a “ God given right”
Killing.. maiming.. destroying
“CHOSEN”, so it’s all right
Bombing peaceful towns

All night and day
Killing young children
So, no longer to play

Tearing clouds apart
Scaring them away
Burning innocent lives
Chasing dreams away

Filled with shame and guilt
Of Hitler’s holocaust

Followers of Christ
People of the west
Cheered .. rejoiced ..hurray
To a cheap victory

While Jesus was weeping
Crying out loud
The murder of his children
And the rape of his land
When I was seven
Jesus cried
Ever so hard ! !

  1. This is truly beautiful, Nahida. Whatever comes in the future, whether a free Palestine, whatever – nothing will ever make up for or wipe out the sin of all sins inflicted upon the Palestinian people. This blood soaked earth of your birth will bear silent witness forever. At the going down of the sun and the rising of the moon, we will not forget.

In retaliation, she kicked Ghyslaine ROC off her website although she was a major contributor because we also found out she was working with the British government and was looking for recognition, and also found out that some government agents were writing on her website to sabotage our contributions.

            Take care

      • I have shed so many tears for Palestine since my teaching years back in the eighties and other similar sufferings that it breaks my heart to read more about it. The last time I heard that Israel was again bombing the Palestinians, I kept away from it in order to protect my sanity, the little that is left!

How could one learn to un-know ? how could one learn to tear his heart apart? How could one learn to switch off the light of his soul? How could one learn to chop his mind to pieces?

          • I have 3 grand daughters to take care of and to educate, 7 and 6 years old and one 4 months old and they have become my priority in life (the few years that are left).
The last time I tried to help the Samouni family, I loaded a whole truck of personal belongings and office furniture and electronics (worth over £1,000) and gave £50 in cash, but all of it was stolen. When Kenneth O’keefe went to the Police to denounce the culprits, he was arrested and investigated instead. So, I know it is not easy.
I tried to help a Belgian widower Malika el Aroud whose husband was murdered in Afghanistan by the CIA and the French agents. Now, she is serving a 7 year sentence in Switzerland for no crime committed.
There is only so much that one individual can achieve.

My struggle is on many issues including domestic ones, but I do not complain. I am just not the type.

  7. Thank you for a moment of sad reflection as I read these words.
I am pained to no end for those who say Lord, Lord, but whose hearts are far from the Lord here in the USA. But because they cry to slay for their masters in the name of the Lord, Vengeance belongs to him for these children of the Murderer from the beginning.

    • Dear Robert
Generations of innocent children were slain, thousands upon thousands of little pure lives thrown to waste at the altar of servitude to the “chosen”…

I wish, I pray that my Christian brothers and sisters would wake up before it’s too late.
I wish and pray that they would listen to the words of Jesus peace be upon him:

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Matthew 7:21-23

    “THE SIX-DAY WAR
    EVER SO CRUEL”

It was not a war but a cowardly attack with Russian complicity. It was the betrayal of the Russians and a conspiracy between the West and Russia to give Israel more land. I was then in clinic in Moscow when it happened.

I met with Vanessa Redgrave in Paris in the nineties when I told her that the PLO office in Paris was under the control of both France and Israel, but she would not believe me and that the solution would come from Muslims, but not from Palestinian nationalists. Arafat had said he was not fighting in the name of Islam. This was a serious mistake. DId anybody see him kissing the hand of Madeleine Albright and always laughing and shaking hands with the enemy?

The Palestinian problem is a human problem , of course, but as a Muslim it is most certainly an Islamic problem because it was the Arabs (the Sauds) who betrayed the Ottomans and sided with the Devil and gave Palestine to the Jews (Dr Weizman and the Rothschilds).

Arabs were the Custodian of the Three Holy Mosques. Now, they speak only of the Two Holy Mosques.

What happened to Palestine would later happen to many other Muslims countries: Chechnya, Algeria, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia-Herzegovina, etc.

Sheikh Imran Hosein seems to have something very interesting to say about Jeruslem. French essayist and philosopher Alain Soral has translated his book on Jerusalem in French.

I have not seen much Muslim solidarity in my lifetime and I am amazed that Palestine is still alive, alhamdulillah.
